26 August, Music and the Spheres: Sounds for Earth and Starts, an evening of improvised & immersive sound art by Corrina Bonshek & Whaia at HOTA Gallery.

1-15 August, Creative incubation of Tower Divas with Whaia & Aaron Mason with support from Bleach* Festival.


29-30 July, Song to the Ocean by Corrina Bonshek, with improvised music by Whaia and performances by DeepBlue, Michael Askill, and talented young local performers. (60minutes). This work was co-commissioned by Fraser Coast Tourism & Events and Fraser Coast Regional Council, with assistance of the Australian Government through the Festivals Australia program and the Regional Arts Development Fund (RADF), a partnership between the Queensland Government and Fraser Coast Regional Council to support local arts and culture in regional Queensland.


24-30 July, In residence on Butchulla country for the Hervey Bay Whale Festival to create Song to the Ocean.


26 June, I hear her name premiered by Ayako Ohtake (coloratura soprano) Alana Blackburn (recorders), and Corrina Bonshek (triggered samples), at Vicki Lee Gallery, Surry Hills, as part of 12 Threads New Australian Art Song initiative by Blush Opera.
